BRIEF HISTORY
In 1994 Pastors Wade and Carla launched Victory Faith Church with the purpose of teaching, training, and mentoring others to live by faith in God’s Word, learn of Him and His desire to bless His people, and then be distributors of that blessing.
Prior to launching Victory Faith Church Pastors Wade & Carla Porter lived and established ministry outreach in Kakamega, in the Western Province of Kenya. After placing the responsibilities for rural ministry in the hands of a seasoned associate, they relocated to Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya, where they could be more effective, not only in Kenya but also in other East African nations.
On the 27th of November 2012, Rev. Wade Porter went to be with the Lord and ever since Carla Porter has been the CEO of Living Faith International and Senior Pastor of Victory Faith Church.
OUR VISION
Loving Others First through acts of Kindness, Compassion, and Generosity.
The vision of this church is to Evangelize, Teach, Train, Coach and Mentor believers to equip the church and the next generation to fulfil God's purposes. In Victory Faith Church, believers have been changed by the Word of God taught through the anointing. The vision for Victory Faith Church is five-fold:
1. Teach and preach the Word of God in order to equip the church to live Godly, fruitful Christian lives which impact the culture of the nation.
2. Provide skilled, Spirit-led Praise and Worship that ministers to the heart of the Lord and changes the lives of the worshipers.
3. Evangelize and equip the next generation through outreach and education.
4. Provide anointed, dynamic Children’s Church and Youth Ministry.
5. Engage in compassionate works of mercy, especially on behalf of Israel, orphans, and widows.
OUR MISSION
REACH OUT to those who do not know the love of God and to introduce them to the Lord Jesus Christ, Disciple believers in the revelation of the Word to become labourers in the great harvest of souls. RAISE UP & EQUIP LEADERS by planting churches & training local pastors to cultivate the next generation in the love of God, to live in unity.
