Pastor JB Whitfield

Pastor J.B. and Susan Whitfield answered the call to start Agape Faith Church (AFC) in Clemmons, NC on March 7, 1982. Through the years of ministry, God has truly blessed AFC and its vision to be a church “overflowing with love, strengthening the family, bettering the community, and affecting the world, where every member is a minister.” Pastor Whitfield is a man who ministers the uncompromising Word of God with boldness and enthusiasm. His love for people and God is evident in each dynamic message he preaches. Knowing where he was before Jesus came into his life, Pastor Whitfield ministers with joy, authority and experience on how the Word of God will change your life forever! Today AFC is a diverse, growing and vibrant congregation of believers endeavoring to serve God and serve others in the Clemmons area.

Pastor Whitfield is the Founder of International Covenant Connections Fellowship (ICCF), a ministerial organization which focuses on leadership training for the five-fold public ministry as well as business leaders and entrepreneurs.  He is the President and Founder of Impact University, a teaching and practical training Bible College headquartered in Clemmons, NC offering numerous degrees including pastoral, counseling and theology.  He is the Founder of the Dream Center of Forsyth County which includes a substantial food pantry, clothing boutique and other assistance for those in need.  He is the North Carolina State Director for Christians United for Israel, a pro-Israel organization with over 2 million members. Pastor Whitfield serves as a Board Member for numerous ministries and churches throughout the United States, Europe, Africa and the Caribbean.

Pastor Susan Whitfield

Susan Whitfield has dedicated her life to prayer. Her lifestyle of prayer has positioned her to be used by God to impart into others this powerful gift. As Prayer Coordinator, she oversees all of the prayer groups at AFC. Susan teaches Prayer School, not only at AFC but also to other ministries and churches in the United States, Europe, Africa and the Caribbean, where she is very active in assisting in the establishment of consistent prayer ministries. Susan is the North Carolina State Director for Daughters For Zion, the prayer support arm for Christians United For Israel.

Pastor Carla Porter

Pastor Carla Porter, along with her late husband Wade Porter, founded Living Faith International, a ministry with a broad influence in East Africa. LFI is involved in planting churches and training pastors. It is through Living Faith International that Victory Faith Church was started in 1994 in Nairobi. In founding Living Faith International, Wade and Carla sought to show compassion to vulnerable populations of African children.

She also serves as the Senior Pastor of Victory Faith Church in Nairobi that includes an orphanage and tuition-free Christian School. Victory Faith Church is deeply involved in teaching, mentoring, and counseling students in secondary schools throughout Nairobi. She is also the director of Our Home, an orphanage and child care center in Nairobi, Kenya.

Always smiling, always willing to go the extra mile, that’s our Associate Pastor Davies for you. His passion is to teach believers in Christ the Word of God. He graduated from Jerry Savelle Ministers Bible Institute in 2001 and has served in different departments in VFC and now he is the Associate Pastor.
