Heritage Leadership Academy (HLA) is built on four pillars: to provide an excellent curriculum, to teach them God’s Word, to provide age-appropriate leadership training, and to teach them age-appropriate financial principles.

Our Vision is to provide an excellent, well-rounded education to these needy children so that they can live fruitful, productive lives.

Although our orphans come to us in various ways, one of the primary things we do is send a school bus to the Marurui slum and bring these needy children out of the slum to HLA.

When they first began attending Heritage Leadership Academy, we found that every area of their lives was dysfunctional and chaotic. However, we believe that with love, discipline, and excellent instruction their lives can be transformed. We are so grateful for the many changes we’ve seen in these children. They live in desperate poverty and are raised by their destitute grandmothers. Every grandmother tells us that HLA has dramatically changed their grandchildren’s lives, as well as their own.

We offer these orphaned children a free education, we address their nutritional needs, and we teach them life skills. New partnerships will allow Heritage Leadership Academy to enroll more needy children for the 2020 school year.
